Saving the current view

While you are working with simulations and maps, you may wish to capture screen shots of them for use in presentations or on web pages, etc. You can do so by manually saving your current view at any time. You can also program this so it happens automatically (please see "Adding a Snapshot event" in GUID-0C58E301-AF2C-4D68-A6AC-EF372CAB573A).

Note: This procedure assumes that you have run the simulation for the desired period and that the map you wish to save had been activated prior to pressing Play.

To save the current view:

Ensure the simulation currently displays the view you want to save.
Right-click in the workspace and select Save Current View or select File > Save Current View.
The ‘Save As’ dialog is displayed.
Select a location and type a name for the file.
Select BMP Files, JPEG Files or PNB Files in the ‘Save as type’ field. Click Save.
